Payton Scott, EIT

Payton Scott joined Mindel Scott in August 2024 as a Project Engineer I. She earned both a Bachelor’s and Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Louisville, completing her master’s degree in 2024. Her professional experience includes civil site design and dam/levee safety with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Additionally, her graduate research focused on internal curing additives in concrete, culminating in a successfully defended thesis.

Payton contributes strong engineering expertise, organizational skills, and a positive, team-oriented mindset to her role. She appreciates the collaborative and supportive environment at Mindel Scott, where open communication and teamwork drive success.

Outside of work, Payton enjoys painting, drawing, and reading. A fun fact about her: she competed in art shows throughout middle and high school, with her work featured in student galleries in her hometown.
