Raymond Hale

Drafter II

Raymond received his Bachelor of Arts in English with a Philosophy minor in 2019 from the University of Louisville. He had taken vocational AutoCAD courses prior to college and made his way into drafting and design through a desire to work as a technical writer. His first job postgrad was designing telecom networks before he drafted maps and schematics for LG&E as a contractor.

He started working at Mindel Scott in early 2024 and is excited to progress into civil engineering practices and design and intends to progress into a more design-oriented role. So far, his favorite thing about working here is being a part of a team that creates physical places that are essential to the way other humans will go about their day to day lives.

In his free time, Raymond enjoys reading, writing, playing music, and lately fixing up the historic home he’s lucky enough to call home. He also enjoys 3D modeling and printing and will hopefully own a 3D printer soon.
