Rayko Simona Anderson

Rayko Simona Anderson holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and a Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Development. Before joining Mindel Scott, she gained experience as an intern with Louisville Metro’s Office of Planning, and she also brings transferable skills from previous roles as an office administrator and kindergarten teacher.
Since starting as a Planner I in the Landscape Architecture department in 2025, Rayko Simona has contributed expertise in research, drafting, and reviewing local ordinances. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues across disciplines including surveyors, drafters, and engineers and values the variety of perspectives they bring to each project.
Outside of work, Rayko Simona enjoys gardening, knitting, and board game nights. A fun fact about her: she is conversationally fluent in Japanese and always eager to practice. 緒に練習してください(“Please practice with me!”)!
