Joe Reverman, AICP

Joe earned a Master of Urban Planning and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Louisville. He joined Mindel Scott in February 2026 as Director of Planning & Landscape Architecture, bringing more than 20 years of public sector experience. Prior to joining the firm, Joe served as Assistant Director of Planning & Design for Louisville Metro Government and as Director of Planning & Development for the City of Elizabethtown. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Joe specializes in navigating complex planning and permitting processes, helping projects move efficiently through regulatory approvals. His deep understanding of public sector systems allows him to anticipate challenges and streamline development timelines. He values the collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach at Mindel Scott, where teams work together to create thoughtful, context-sensitive projects.

In his free time, Joe enjoys working on home improvement projects, traveling, and playing golf.
