Director of Planning and Landscape Architecture

Nathan earned his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky in May of 2015. He has previously served as a Landscape Architecture Intern at the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky Department of Landscape Architecture.

Nathan has been with Mindel Scott since August of 2015, where he brings a fresh approach to design, an eagerness to learn, a passion for design and problem solving and a team and goal-oriented attitude. A fan of collaboration, Nathan appreciates working with his team in every aspect of the design process to come up with a creative project solution. He is a Registered Landscape Architect in Kentucky and Indiana.

When he’s not working, you can find Nathan out enjoying nature by hiking, kayaking, backpacking, camping and sketching. Nathan was the recipient of an American Society of Landscape Architects Student Honor Award in 2015. He also presented Research on Kentucky’s Inner Bluegrass Streams at the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture in Manhattan, KS in 2015. An animal lover, Nathan has a ferret, a parakeet and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
