Omni Hotels & Resorts is a luxury hotel company based in Dallas, Texas. Omni operates 60 properties in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Hotel guests can enjoy signature restaurants, golf, spa retreats, and dynamic business settings. The downtown Louisville location opened in March of 2018. The hotel boasts 612 rooms, a third floor pool deck, and a plethora of fine dining options.  Mindel Scott was enlisted to provide layout services for the construction of the Omni Louisville Hotel.

Mindel Scott’s Tasks:
Mindel Scott’s tasks for the Omni Louisville Hotel site included the layout of more than 1,200 auger cast piles needed for deep foundation, tower crane, and shoring support. Working with strict tolerances, Mindel Scott was in charge of grout/steel locations and elevations. The layout was followed by daily as-built reports to ensure every pile was drilled correctly both horizontally and vertically. Mindel Scott’s tasks were completed in April of 2016, two years prior to the hotel’s grand opening.
