Mark Zuckerberg Legal Team

Mark Kim is general counsel for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Prior to joining CZI, Mark was a partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson, where he practiced corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate governance. During his tenure at MTO, Mark was instrumental in structuring and establishing CZI and the CZ Biohub and represented CZI as a lead external consultant. Mark is currently Chair of the Board of Directors of the Old Pasadena Management District. Mark received his law degree from Yale Law School, where he served as student director of the Advocacy for Parents and Children Legal Clinic, and received his bachelor`s degree in biology and East Asian studies from Harvard College. After law school, Mark worked for the Honorable Pamela Ann Rymer on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. It`s unclear whether both sides knew Doe`s real name had been leaked in legal documents before it was discovered by insiders. An attorney for Doe said she didn`t know why Maraschino left Doe`s names in the documents. As Chief Investment Officer of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, David Lee is responsible for managing CZI`s investment portfolio, which funds the organization`s efforts in science, education, and our communities. David joined CZI from Princeton University Investment Company, where he worked on asset allocation and marketable asset classes, including domestic equities, international equities and independent returns.

Prior to Princeton, David worked at ABN AMRO in London. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and a J.D. from Yale Law School. After law school, she clerked for Justice Stephen Breyer of the U.S. Supreme Court and Judge Laurence Silberman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.
