Lpu Manila Legal Management

This program aims to enable students to be informed and responsible future broadcasters by studying theories, analyzing communication trends, writing and producing content from well-thought-out concepts, learning and refining skills in production, editing and camera performance, and developing communication planning and management skills in production and programming. Legal management is currently offered in several study formats, depending on the college or university that offers it. Its diversity and flexibility are a focal point among schools that have it in their list of university degrees. Some benefit from the legal aspects, others from the commercial aspects. Some schools may offer the degree either as a primarily preparatory law program, as a liberal arts focused program, or as a business and management program. The main subjects are: law, philosophy, literature and management (public and business). Depending on the school, the ratio between law courses and management courses varies between 40:60 and 90:10. These legal topics will give graduates a competitive edge in the increasingly complex business environment and the impact of local and foreign laws and regulations on the firm. A selection of applicable and recent jurisprudence is assigned to groups and discussed so that students can discuss the facts and context of the case, as well as the reasoning of the law and the court decision and the impact of the decision on the firm. This is tested in class through a combination of the “Socratic/Individual Recitation Method” and the Case Analysis Approach (Harvard Method), taking into account the legal ethical and business perspectives of the decision-maker`s (manager) context.

Legal Management alumni are well-educated, well-versed and knowledgeable in the following disciplines: Legal management student organizations in the Philippines are represented by the Alliance of Legal Management Associations of the Philippines (ALMAP) at the Securities and Exchange Commission as a student-owned non-profit corporation. It fosters relationships between the different schools that offer programs in legal management, legal studies, paralegal studies and the like through social engineering projects, forums, academic seminars, project partnerships, and nation-building initiatives. Legal management is an academic and professional discipline that is a mixture of the study of law and management (i.e. business administration, public administration, etc.). Often, alumni of legal management programs pursue a professional law degree such as Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Law (LL.B.), while some go on to pursue paralegals, articling students, policy analysts, politicians, public administrations, entrepreneurs, executives, or careers in academia. Marketing explores what is important to a customer and builds a brand around the customer`s values, while communication and management are essential in all aspects of a person`s existence and organization. When applied strategically, marketing and communications concepts, principles, and applications impact organizations and brands, adding personality and character beyond mere products or services. The program combines marketing and communication strategies in brand building and is useful in other areas such as corporate communications, reputation management, advocacy and health communications, to name a few. The degree was developed in the Philippines and first introduced at Ateneo de Manila University in the 1980s by former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, Renato Corona. A similar degree called legal studies is offered at the University of California, Berkeley, but without management courses.
