Ohio River Sweep
On Saturday, June 15th, 2019, several of our Engineers, LA’s, and Technicians participated in the Ohio River Sweep. The event, sponsored by Louisville MSD, is held annually and has been noted as one of the largest annual environmental cleanup events in the United States. MSD organizes the event and provides volunteers with all the supplies needed to participate: bags, gloves, bugspray, and waters.
Amanda Smith, Director of Engineering, said it was a wonderful way to spend time with coworkers outside of the office. Travis Brown, EIT, found it to be a rewarding experience and hopes we can participate annually.
